I tapped the glass inside the bird
(I felt the metal in the cattle)
The little window streaked with dirt
(The box was sinking in the soil)
I felt a sliver in the rubber in the rib
(Leaned on the box as it went down)
The little one was hot from the ticking in its body
(And the big one kept me cool as it went burping underground)
I tapped the glass inside the bird
(Leaned on the sinking metal block)
I have tapped upon the window many times throughout my life
But there was never a response

Woefully grandiose melodic black metal. On the surface, it is a bit more raw and rough compared to more modern acts, and this is to a great advantage to the overall atmosphere.
The synths and guitar passages have a complexity and depth that makes the entire album far more compelling, especially as they have a fairly wide scope that they travel in each track. The vocals are tortured and have a gloomy edge that ensures the aggression is not so much as sinister as it is somber. Lorenzo
